As I head off for Calgary and the Tour Divide tomorrow, Karen and her best friend Nancy are starting their second week of riding the Eurovelo 6 route along the Loire river in France. Starting in Nantes near the Atlantic, they will cross France and end up in Amsterdam after 6 weeks. For some reason Karen felt like this was a better idea than the endless rough roads of the Great Divide. Most of our friends agree with her. They are having a great time and laughing their way through campgrounds and chateaus along the river.
